The convergence of the two-policy game to the evolutionarily stable strategy (ESS) has been examined by simulation over a two-dimensional space. This convergence depends on factors that are removed from the scope of ESS analysis. It is suggested that ESS assumptions be modified to more adequately predict such a convergence.
