Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) is increasingly expected to support Industry 5.0 (I5.0) by enabling human-centric, resilient, and sustainable manufacturing systems. However, current research remains fragmented across technologies, lifecycle phases, functionalities, and value dimensions. This paper addresses this gap through a systematic literature review of 141 contributions at the intersection of PLM and I5.0, classified according to nine analytical dimensions. The findings show that resilience is the most frequent primary pillar, followed by human-centricity and sustainability; that human-centric PLM remains mainly concentrated in the Beginning-of-Life phase; and that End-of-Life applications are still limited across all pillars. Document management, configuration management, and product traceability emerge as transversal PLM functionalities, while Big Data Analytics and Simulation are the dominant technological enablers. The study contributes by synthesizing the literature into Human-Centric, Resilient, and Sustainable PLM and by proposing a PLM 5.0 conceptual framework that maps I5.0 capabilities across lifecycle phases, highlighting gaps in social sustainability, circular End-of-Life strategies, and integrated multi-pillar implementations.
