Objective: Fosaprepitant, an intravenous neurokinin-1 (NK1) receptor antagonist used to prevent chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting, is known to cause local adverse events at peripheral infusion sites, including vascular pain and phlebitis. Although female sex and the number of chemotherapy cycles have been reported as risk factors, the association between concomitant antineoplastic agents and local adverse events has not been comprehensively investigated.
