In children’s literature, ethical dynamics play an essential role in nurturing young minds and promoting principled conduct. While previous research often focuses on single texts or cultural traditions, there is a lack of interdisciplinary, cross-cultural analyses that amalgamate computational and humanistic methods. This study fills this gap by reflecting moral and leadership values across the ancient Tamil classic Thirukkural and the modern British fantasy novel Martin the Warrior . Leveraging natural language processing (NLP) tools, the article explores the efficacy of ChatGPT in generating paraphrases that preserve moral sentiments and employs TextBlob for quantitative sentiment similarity analysis. Findings demonstrate that ChatGPT produces morally aligned paraphrases suitable for comparative sentiment analysis, offering a framework to verify the integrity of AI-generated content using quantitative sentiment metrics. By transiting classical and contemporary renderings, this research expounds on the cross-cultural dissemination of moral and leadership values, emphasizing future possibilities of computational methods to interrogate human values in literature and their relevance for ethical and leadership development in modern society. Therefore, this research provides insights into how moral and leadership values are communed in cross-cultural texts.
