The effect of the barium donor impurity concentration on the dielectric properties of potassium sodium niobate ceramics was studied. It was found that doping to 1 and 5 mol % does not change the phase transition pattern, but increases the electrical conductivity of the ceramics. It was shown that the temperature dependence of the relaxation frequency of the process caused by the Maxwell–Wagner polarization and described by the linear dispersion of the permittivity obeys the Arrhenius law in the region of structural phase transitions, which is explained by the participation of charged domain boundaries in this relaxation process.
