Hypertension remains a major global and national health issue, with a shifting trend toward productive-age groups. In Sungai Bakung Village RT 09, South Kalimantan, the prevalence of hypertension is high, yet community awareness and utilization of alternative herbal therapies, such as Moringa leaves (Moringa oleifera), remain low due to a lack of processing knowledge. This community service aims to educate and train residents on processing Moringa leaves into an innovative pudding as a supportive herbal therapy to help control hypertension. The program was conducted on April 17, 2026, targeting adolescents, adults, and the elderly. The methods included problem surveys, pre-test evaluations, health education using leaflets and posters, educational video screenings, and hands-on Moringa leaf pudding distribution, followed by post-test evaluations. The evaluation showed a significant increase in public knowledge regarding hypertension management and herbal processing, with the average score rising by 32% from 60.66% (pre-test) to 92.66% (post-test). Respondents in the 'good' knowledge category increased drastically from 13.34% to 93.33%. The educational and training intervention effectively improved community knowledge and provided a practical, acceptable approach for utilizing local herbal resources to support blood pressure management.
