The magnetic properties of MnSi–CoSi solid solution alloys have been studied by means of magnetization and nuclear magnetic resonance measurements. Two kinds of 55 Mn nuclear resonance signals corresponding to different magnetic states have been observed in manganese-rich alloys. The magnetic moments for the respective magnetic states have been evaluated from the concentration dependence of hyperfine field. The NMR measurements suggest that the addition of MnSi to pure CoSi induces the magnetic moment on the Co atoms.
