PCI triggers no-reflow phenomenon complicated by acute heart failure and recurrent myocardial infarction.
Case Report (n=2)
This case series illustrates the severe clinical consequences of microvascular obstruction and the no-reflow phenomenon following percutaneous coronary intervention.
Persistent no-reflow after stenting warrants post-PCI perfusion vigilance; case reports leave open targeted microvascular therapies.

Jaffe et al. (2008) conducted a case report in Microvascular obstruction and no-reflow phenomenon (n=2). Percutaneous coronary intervention (stenting) was evaluated. Percutaneous coronary intervention in two men resulted in suboptimal coronary flow and the no-reflow phenomenon, which was complicated by heart failure and myocardial infarction.
