Chalcones are valuable α, β-unsaturated carbonyl compounds with wide applications in organic synthesis and medicinal chemistry. One-pot strategies offer an efficient, sustainable route to chalcones by reducing reaction steps and improving environmental compatibility. This review summarizes recent advances in green one-pot synthesis of chalcones from 2015 to 2025, focusing on metal-free catalysts, organocatalytic systems, heterogeneous catalysts, solvent-free conditions, and other environmentally friendly methodologies. Key advantages, limitations, green metrics evaluation and future perspectives are also discussed.
