A 34-year-old female (G0P0) with a history of two prior hysteroscopies and fibroids presented to an outpatient obstetrician-gynecologic clinic for abnormal uterine bleeding.Ultrasound confirmed the presence of a submucosal fibroid and an abnormally heterogeneous endometrium.Subsequent hysteroscopic myomectomy and polypectomy were performed, with specimens sent for pathology. The pathology report for both lesions was significant for atypical polypoid adenomyoma (APA), a rare benign intrauterine lesion. This case report highlights the importance of further research on this pathology and its possible implications for the future care of patients with this diagnosis.
