Numerical analysis was performed on the flow coefficients of MSADV used in nuclear power plants. Since MSADV contains a very large number of small flow paths, the analysis was performed by simulating it as a porous media for computational cost. For each flow path, various mass flow rate conditions were set to derive the correlation between pressure drop and velocity. The resistance coefficients of the porous media were calculated from the derived correlation and used in the analysis. Through the analysis, the flow coefficients were identified in various opening, and the reliability of the porous media simulation method was validated.
