This study outlines a straightforward, accurate, precise, and reproducible RP-HPLC method for the concurrent quantification of bupropion hydrochloride and escitalopram oxalate. Separation was accomplished using a C18 column (250 mm x 4.6 mm, 5 μm) under the mobile phase composition of ACN: Phosphate Buffer pH 3 (75:25 v/v), pH adjusted with OPA. Ten microliters was the injection volume. The detection was done at a flow rate of 1.0 mL/min at 233 nm. The temperature of the column was set to 30 °C. Retention durations for escitalopram oxalate and bupropion HCl were 4.2 min and 7.7 min, respectively. For ESC and BUP drugs, linearity was achieved within the concentration range between 1 and 6 µg/mL and 15 and 90 µg/mL, in both cases, with correlation levels of 0.999. For escitalopram oxalate and bupropion HCl, accuracy ranged from 98.51% to 100.33% and 99.05% to 100.23%, respectively. ESC and BUP were found with LODs of 0.101 and 1.188 µg/mL, respectively, and LOQs of 0.308 and 3.602 µg/mL. The outcome showed that the designed approach is appropriate for routine analysis to determine the dosage forms of escitalopram oxalate and bupropion HCl in tablets.
