Bearings, characterized by numerous components and multi-interface contacts, particularly exhibit challenges in accurately describing the dynamic mechanical properties of rolling bearings with local defects, especially under the influence of multi-factors such as thermal elastohydrodynamic lubrication (TEHL). Examining the dynamic characteristics of rolling bearings under various influencing factors, a contact stiffness model and a quasi-static model of rolling bearings considering TEHL factors were established, focusing on rolling bearings with local defects in the outer race as the research subject. The results indicate that the comprehensive stiffness of rolling bearings under TEHL is less than the Hertzian contact stiffness. Moreover, the greater the axial angle of local defects, the deeper the rolling elements penetrate into the defects, resulting in lower stiffness in the defective region.
