This article, based on scientific literature, analyzes the role of a healthy lifestyle in the prevention of noncommunicable diseases. It emphasizes that modifiable risk factors, such as poor diet, physical inactivity, smoking, and alcohol consumption, significantly influence the development of cardiovascular diseases, type 2 diabetes, and certain cancers. Preventive strategies and their effectiveness in improving population health are also assessed.
