Response to Comments on "Analysis of risk factors and development of a prediction model for acute kidney injury in elderly patients after abdominal surgery" Dear Editor:We sincerely thank the reader for their thoughtful comments and valuable suggestions regarding our study "Analysis of risk factors and development of a prediction model for acute kidney injury in elderly patients after abdominal surgery" [1].We fully agree that transparency of variable coding and rigorous model validation are essential before a nomogram can be applied in clinical practice [2,3].We respond to each point in detail below.
