Bahatyrevich et al. (2026) conducted a case report in Severe paravalvular leak after transcatheter mitral valve replacement (n=1). Surgical mitral valve replacement after Tendyne valve explantation was evaluated on Procedural success and patient survival. Surgical explantation of a failed tethered transcatheter mitral valve followed by surgical mitral valve replacement was technically feasible and successfully performed to treat severe paravalvular leak.
