Taniguchi et al. (2026) conducted a case report in Transvalvular aortic regurgitation from late commissural tear (n=1). Transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) with Evolut R was evaluated. A late (>5 years) commissural tear of a 26-mm Evolut R transcatheter heart valve caused severe transvalvular aortic regurgitation presenting with a diastolic musical murmur.
