Synthetic organic chemistry offers an endless scope in various domains of science, and electro-organic synthesis has grown as a green alternative to synthetic organic chemistry, obviating the necessity for harmful oxidants and reductants. Electro-organic reactions have attracted considerable attention globally in both academia and industry. This study analyzes the electrochemical organic synthesis towards the synthesis of valuable organic compounds. Electro-organic methodologies encompass C—P/C—O/C—N/N—N bond formation, C—H/N—H functionalization, C—N/C—S cross—coupling, ring expansion, oxidation dearomatization/annulation, C—H thiolation, dehydrogenative C(sp2)—H amination, C(sp3)—H/C(sp2)—H functionalization, sulfur insertion, Henry reaction, and Buchwald–Hartwig amination. This review emphasizes the synthesis of diversified organic compounds that possess remarkable biological features and show considerable potential in medicinal chemistry. The current review summarizes the reports from the recent decade that represent electro-organic synthesis for the development of diversified organic compounds.
