This article examines the impact of transport and logistics infrastructure on regional economic growth from theoretical and empirical perspectives. The primary objective of the study is to identify scientifically grounded approaches to enhancing transport and logistics infrastructure as a means of promoting regional economic development. The research employs a combination of systems analysis, comparative analysis, expert assessment, and an indicator-based composite index approach. The findings establish the interrelationships among infrastructure development, logistics costs, foreign trade volumes, and gross regional product (GRP). Furthermore, the study proposes a composite index for assessing the transport and logistics potential of individual regions. Based on the findings, practical recommendations are developed to support the establishment and expansion of multimodal terminals, dry ports, digital logistics platforms, and public–private partnership (PPP) mechanisms, thereby contributing to improved regional connectivity, logistics efficiency, and sustainable economic development.
