Background: Vascular closure devices have become standard for hemostasis following the transfemoral approach. The MYNX CONTROL Vascular Closure Device is a percutaneous closure system that delivers a biocompatible, polyethylene glycol-based, water-soluble sealant for extravascular hemostasis. This study evaluated the efficacy and safety of the MYNX CONTROL device for femoral artery puncture site hemostasis in Japanese patients.
