This fourth volume synthesises the hardware and information-theoretic threads that followed Volume III. It examines modular cryogenic interconnects and cryo-CMOS control electronics as complementary solutions to the scaling bottlenecks that limit quantum processors, then maps those capabilities onto the concrete requirements of quantum molecular simulation. Memory specifications (coherence time, fidelity, efficiency, multimode capacity and latency) are related to the circuit depths and intermediate-state storage needed for electronic-structure and dynamics algorithms. Molecular entanglement entropy is analysed as both a diagnostic of multi-reference character and a quantitative driver of those hardware demands. The 2025 Quantinuum H1-1 trapped-ion experiment that reconstructed orbital von Neumann entropies for the vinylene-carbonate + singlet-oxygen reaction path is reviewed, together with the purifying and resource-reducing effects of fermionic superselection rules. The volume concludes that the modular cryogenic and cryo-CMOS stack, when combined with the memory and entanglement metrics already established, supplies a practical pathway toward chemically relevant quantum simulations without requiring a single definitive quantum-advantage date.
