Herein, a new Mn(II) coordination polymer, [Mn(Phth)(Pyr)(H 2 O) 2 ]n (where Phth = phthalate and Pyr = pyrazine), is synthesized by the reaction of MnСl 2 .4H 2 O with equimolar amounts of phthalic acid (PhthH 2 ) as the main ligand and pyrazine (Pyr) as an ancillary ligand in aqueous media. The crystal structure was investigated by single‐crystal x‐ray diffraction analysis, which revealed that the complex crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pccn. The Mn (II) center adopts a distorted octahedral coordination geometry, being coordinated by two oxygen atoms from the phthalate ligands, two nitrogen atoms from the bridging pyrazine rings, and two oxygen atoms from coordinated water molecules. The structure extends into a one‐dimensional polymeric chain through the bridging action of the pyrazine moieties. The crystal packing is significantly stabilized by an extensive network of O─H⋯O hydrogen bonds involving the coordinated water molecules and the carboxylate oxygen atoms of the phthalate ligand, as well as weak C─H⋯O interactions. These non‐covalent interactions facilitate the formation of a stable three‐dimensional supramolecular framework. The non‐covalent interactions are investigated by Hirshfeld surface analysis. The enrichment ratio delivers the tendency of the interaction of the pair of chemical moieties, which are involved in the packing of crystals.
