To support data sharing among industrial devices and information systems, blockchain provides a shared, tamper-evident ledger for recording data storage and access in the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). However, managing heterogeneous IIoT data across multiple blockchains requires coordination of storage, access authorization, and cross-chain interactions. To address these challenges, this paper proposes a blockchain-enabled cross-chain data storage and sharing scheme for IIoT. Firstly, a three-layer IIoT model is introduced, encompassing the device layer, storage layer, and blockchain layer, employing a multi-chain distributed storage mode to handle data diversity. Subsequently, based on this model, the overall architecture and key interaction sequences of the cross-chain storage system are designed, clarifying the execution processes for data uploading, cross-chain requests, and verification. Finally, a concurrent contract-based algorithm is introduced to coordinate cross-chain data access. Simulations demonstrate that the proposed algorithm enhances data security and access efficiency. The proposed cross-chain data storage system significantly improves throughput compared to single-chain systems, while the node fault tolerance rate remains largely consistent with that of single-chain consensus. Simulations demonstrate that the proposed CPHTLC algorithm enhances data security and access efficiency.
