We report herein a visible-light-induced dual catalytic system merging cobaloxime and photoredox catalysis that enables the oxidative phosphorylation of silyl enol ethers with H-phosphine oxides. This method provides efficient access to diverse β-ketophosphine oxides, bypassing the need for external oxidants, harsh conditions, or a restricted substrate scope that typically plagues conventional methods. Salient features include easily accessible starting materials, broad functional group compatibility, late-stage modifications, and scalability. Mechanistic studies reveal that this formal oxidative phosphorylation of ketones proceeds via a phosphinoyl radical intermediate.
