Proposal of an Estimating Building Vibration Characteristics Method Focusing on the Imaginary Part of the Transfer Function for Microtremor

In order to reduce the influence of wind force on the estimation of building vibration characteristics using microtremor records, we proposed an estimation method that focuses on the characteristics of the imaginary part of the transfer function. To verify the validity of this method, microtremor measurements of nine buildings in the Nagoya University were conducted and the method were applied to these records. As a result, system identification results were improved in several buildings, confirming the validity of the method.
