This study examines after-school facilities integrating childcare and community programs using municipal data and a questionnaire survey. Among six scenarios, the S0 area, which includes only dedicated rooms, was the smallest, and many facilities fell below the 1.65 m² per-child standard at peak time. Smaller dedicated rooms were associated with fewer calm spaces and noisier behavior. Environmental evaluations varied by facility type. Regression analyses showed that room location, shape, and circulation had stronger effects in determining per-child area than access to school spaces. These findings highlight the need to consider spatial conditions beyond room size.
