Joint Report on the Second International Workshop on Autonomous System Quality Assurance and Prediction with Digital Twins (ASQAP) and the Second International Workshop on Software Engineering for Engineering Simulations, and Simulation Engineering for Engineering Software (SE4ES)

This report summarizes the joint edition of the InternationalWorkshop on Autonomous System Quality Assurance and Prediction with Digital Twins (ASQAP 2026) and the International Workshop on Software Engineering for Engineering Simulations, and Simulation Engineering for Engineering Software (SE4ES 2026), held on July 6 in Montr´eal, co-located with the ACM International Conference on the Foundations of Software Engineering (FSE) 2026. The joint format brought together researchers and practitioners from two related software engineering communities and created a shared forum for exchanging research results, tools, practical experiences, and open challenges. The workshop program combined a keynote talk, paper presentations from both communities with a joint discussion on shared concerns and future research directions. This report summarizes the motivation for the joint event, the workshop organization, the technical program, and the main outcomes that emerged from the discussions.
