This study aims to identify and describe the strategies implemented by Civics Education teachers to enhance legal awareness among students at Gajah Mada Private High School in Medan. The study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. The informants included Civics Education teachers and students. Data collection was conducted through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Subsequently, the data were analyzed through a process involving data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research findings indicate that Civics Education teachers employ various strategies to foster student legal awareness, such as linking learning materials to real-life situations faced by students, conducting discussions and case studies, setting an example of rule compliance, and instilling a habit of discipline within the school environment. The implementation of these strategies has positively impacted students' understanding of the importance of the law and their rights and obligations as citizens, while also encouraging adherence to school regulations. These strategies are supported by effective collaboration among teachers, the school administration, and parents. However, certain challenges remain, such as low learning motivation among some students, the influence of peer environments, the impact of social media and technology, and the diverse characteristics of individual students. Based on the results, it can be concluded that the strategies employed by Civics Education teachers play a significant role in fostering and enhancing student legal awareness. The success of these efforts requires sustained support and collaboration among teachers, the school, and families to shape students who possess disciplined, responsible, and law-abiding character.
