Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) play a strategic role in shaping students’ character while developing their knowledge and practical skills through contextual and daily-life-based learning. However, environmental management and the use of technology within pesantren still require improvement, particularly in waste segregation, organic waste processing, land utilization, and digital literacy. This community service program aimed to improve the knowledge, skills, and participation of students at Al Hamidy 2 Islamic Boarding School in Kadur, Pamekasan, in environmental management and the productive and sustainable use of technology. The program employed a participatory approach through several stages, including socialization, training, hands-on practice, mentoring, monitoring, and evaluation. The activities consisted of developing waste bins and segregating organic and inorganic waste, producing compost, planting and applying compost, establishing a simple hydroponic system, and strengthening digital literacy. These activities were designed as an integrated system in which organic waste could be processed into compost and subsequently utilized for planting activities, while hydroponics served as a practical medium for developing students’ agricultural skills and making efficient use of available space. Digital literacy activities were directed toward strengthening students’ ability to access, process, document, and disseminate information productively. This program is expected to foster better environmental management practices, enhance students’ practical and digital literacy skills, and encourage the development of a cleaner, more productive, independent, and sustainable environment.
