This study aims to address issues associated with climate change and environmental impacts on businesses from a strategic perspective and extensively highlighting the role of corporate social responsibility (CSR), while emphasizing and introducing the context of investment risks and the essence of shielding against risks and the crucial need for mitigating measures. Furthermore, the stakeholder perspective has been extended into shared value creation and translating to equity in the context of the resource-based view. The quantitative method was applied based on inferential statistics, supplemented with interviews. Structured and semi-structured questionnaires and interview materials were applied in data collection from randomly drawn participants and respondents from the population. The population sampled consists of up to 408 responses captured in Roma. The relationship between investment risks and brand reputation and also with brand equity in each case from multiple regression showed statistical significance at the 5% level of significance, as the p -value in each case is less than 0.05 (< 0.05). The results of these studies also confirm that CSR has a positive and significant relationship with trust, which also aligns with the assumption of this study on the composite relationship existing and connecting the two groups on their perceptions of investment risks based on resource conservation against state activism and the perception of litigation being redressed. The results indicate that organizations can gain a competitive advantage through shared value from a strategic point of view. Thus, it is imperative for businesses to adopt strategic measures, such as creating and building shields or hedge against investment risks, and fuse CSR into their business models and brands to address emerging issues as highlighted following the present dynamics and prevailing trends.
