Compulsory academic internships are a vital part of modern engineering education. However, the process of managing student progress, verifying documents, and coordinating placements manually creates significant difficulties for college staff and Training and Placement Officers (TPOs). This paper introduces the development of the "College Internship and Placement Management System," a web-based platform designed to simplify these tasks. The system integrates students, faculty, and recruiting organizations into one digital platform, allowing for automated tracking of progress, efficient handling of applications, and smooth document verification. Furthermore, the platform incorporates an artificial intelligence-based recommendation system using a BERT (Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers) model to match students with relevant internship postings based on their interests. This approach minimizes the need for manual work, ensures accurate and timely reporting, and provides a customized experience to help students get the best efficiency from their internship.
