Learning outcomes serve as one of the indicators to determine the achievement of learning objectives. The use of learning methods that actively involve students is essential so that students do not merely receive material from the teacher, but also gain the opportunity to learn and comprehend the material independently. This study aims to determine the effect of the recitation method on student learning outcomes in Fiqh subjects for eighth-grade students at MTs Darul Ulum Mojosarirejo Driyorejo Gresik, specifically on the topics of charity (sedekah), grants (hibah), and gifts (hadiah). This research employed a quantitative approach involving 26 students through saturated sampling technique. Data were collected using a questionnaire on the use of the recitation method and documentation of students' daily test results. The questionnaire instrument consisted of 10 statements that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was conducted using the Chi-Square test and contingency coefficient with the assistance of SPSS version 32. The research results indicate a significance value of 0.004, which is smaller than 0.05, with a contingency coefficient value of 0.896. Based on these results, the study concludes that the use of the recitation method has a significant influence on student learning outcomes, with a degree of relationship based on the contingency coefficient categorized as very strong.
