A 29-year-old previously healthy man presented with a 2-year history of visual reduction in his left eye. On admission, visual acuity was no light perception. Fundus photography revealed a large brown choroidal lesion and retinal detachment (Fig 1). B-ultrasound showed a dome-shaped choroidal mass (Fig 2). Orbital magnetic resonance imaging demonstrated a well-defined ocular tumor with high intensity (Fig 3). The patient underwent complete tumor removal via an uneventful vitrectomy. Two hours later, the patient suddenly developed dyspnea and unconsciousness.
