Absract The aim of the study was to evaluate the dynamics of the overall blood count after specific therapy in three groups of patients. Materials and methods. 155 patients with a clinical picture typical of common vulgar psoriasis in the progressive stage were included in the study, some patients were also diagnosed with psoriatic arthropathy. The patients were randomly divided into three groups. Patients of the first group used daily applications of mometasone furoate in the form of 0.1% ointment, applying a thin layer to the affected areas of the skin once a day for a month with gradual withdrawal. Patients of the second group received methotrexate intramuscularly at 15 mg once a week according to the scheme. To reduce the likelihood of adverse events, treatment was accompanied by the use of folic acid orally 5 mg once a week 24 hours after taking methotrexate. Patients in the third group were treated with secukinumab subcutaneously 300 mg as the initial administered dose at 0, 1, 2 and 3 weeks, followed by maintenance therapy in the form of monthly administration, starting from the 4th week. Each 300 mg dose was administered as two separate subcutaneous injections of 150 mg each. Additionally, emollients were applied externally in all three groups. Results. Statistical analysis of the study results for the main parameters of the general blood test revealed no statistically significant differences before and after the therapy. Conclusion. Conducting a general blood test remains the main method of monitoring the patient’s health status. The obtained minor significant differences can be used to build predictive models.
