This study was conducted based on the low mathematical problem solving ability (KPMM) of students in class VIII B at SMP IT Al Fityah Pekanbaru. The preliminary test results indicated very low performance, with average scores of 41.23 in understanding the problem, 26.32 in planning solutions, 18.42 in implementing the plan, and 2.63 in interpreting results. This study was conducted to improve the quality of the learning process and enhance students’ abilities through the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model integrated with a Deep Learning ap-[proach. This study used Classroom Action Research (PTK) conducted in two cycles, consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected using observation sheets and problem solving tests. The results showed continuous improvement in each cycle. The average scores increased to 75.44 and 82.45 in understanding problems, 43.86 and 63.16 in planning solutions, 70.65 and 76.02 in implementing plans, and 61.40 and 64.91 in interpreting results in cycles I and II. It can be concluded that the PBL model with a Deep Learning approach effectively improves KPMM.
