The regional distribution patterns of nematodes associated with the root zone of dog rose (Rosa canina L.) were investigated in the Sariosiyo, Termez, and Boysun areas of Surkhandarya Region. The study focused primarily on the formation of rhizosphere communities under foothill, mountainous, and plain conditions, as well as on distinguishing bacterivorous nematodes from plant-associated phytonematodes. The need to interpret sample sizes and taxon occurrence separately in interregional comparisons was substantiated. The occurrence of the genus Mesorhabditis in the rhizosphere of dog rose was described as an important component of regional observations. The analysis highlights ecological factors associated with geographical distribution, including soil moisture, soil texture, topography, and root microbiota.
