This text analyzes the differences between a text written by a human and one produced by AI. Based on concrete experiences, the author demonstrates that texts produced by AI supplant what she calls the “voice” of a human author, since they produce impersonal, aseptic, and complacent versions of the content a human wishes to create. Therefore, and because of the influence of these texts generated by artificial language models frequently used by writers and text creators, the author denounces the loss of a writer's own “voice,” which is one of the most essential and profound features of creation through language.
