The library lending service at Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Sumatera Barat was still supported by manual recording and Microsoft Excel, resulting in less efficient transaction recording, limited information retrieval, and the absence of integrated reminders for return deadlines. This study aimed to develop a web-based library book lending information system equipped with QR Code and WhatsApp notification features. The research used applied research with a mixed-method approach and system development using the Waterfall model. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study. The system was implemented using PHP, MySQL, XAMPP, and Visual Studio Code, and it supports four user roles: administrator, library staff, management, and members. QR Code was implemented to assist book identification during transactions, while WhatsApp was used to support return reminders. Functional testing used Black Box Testing with 20 scenarios covering login, registration, book management, transactions, QR Code, notifications, access rights, reports, and logout. All 20 scenarios were successful and no failed scenario was found. The resulting system therefore fulfilled the main functional requirements defined in the study and provided an integrated digital basis for library lending, returning, fines, transaction history, and reporting.
