In developing countries, urban unemployment often results from newcomers' inability to adapt to technological advancements. A segment of the unemployed population in large cities needs upskilling to meet the demands of new technologies and evolving workplace requirements. This will help reduce unemployment caused by a lack of technological adaptation in urban areas. This study, specifically focused on the city of Zonguldak, examines the technological and urban adaptation of employees who have moved from rural areas to work in the manufacturing industry. The research also investigates their concerns about technological unemployment.
