The escalation of the tourism industry in the coastal area of Lovina Beach represents a profound shift in the socio-economic landscape of the local community, accompanied by evident ecological pressures. This study aims to deeply explore both the positive and negative impacts of marine tourism dynamics on the coastal environment, while identifying a sustainability mitigation framework for the destination. A qualitative approach utilizing a case study design was applied to examine empirical phenomena through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and field documentation involving informants selected via purposive sampling. Substantial findings demonstrate that the expansion of the dolphin watching sector and local accommodations successfully diversifies residents' income, yet simultaneously triggers plastic waste accumulation and disrupts wildlife movement corridors. The ultimate synthesis concludes that restoring coastal environmental quality fundamentally relies on strengthening collaborative governance and integrating adaptive local wisdom. The long-term viability of the destination is ultimately determined by consistent synergy among government regulations, business operators' compliance, and joint conservation commitments.
