We present a genome assembly from an individual female Dolerus triplicatus (Triplex Mourner; Arthropoda; Insecta; Hymenoptera; Tenthredinidae). The assembly contains two haplotypes with total lengths of 243.49 megabases and 217.89 megabases. The haplotype 1 assembly and the haplotype 2 assembly each contain 8 chromosomal pseudomolecules; these account for 98.24% and 92.58% of their respective sequences. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled, with a length of 22.98 kilobases. This assembly was generated as part of the Darwin Tree of Life project, which produces genomes for eukaryotic species found in Britain and Ireland.
