Subject. Implementation of financial innovations in the context of the uneven economic landscape of Russia. Objectives. Identifying the conditions under which financial innovations help reduce spatial costs, smooth out interregional price differences, and increase the resilience of territorial development, as well as determining the factors under which they strengthen local inflationary pressure. Methods. Comparative, structural-logical, and typological analysis. Results. The impact of financial innovations is uneven and depends on the type of region, characteristics of local supply, and specifics of economic connections. In northern, remote, agricultural regions, as well as in areas with underdeveloped infrastructure, financial innovations can reduce logistics, coordination, and transaction costs, support supply, and ease price imbalances. In agglomeration, tourist, subsidized, and rent-oriented regions, where supply is inelastic, financial innovations can mainly boost demand and amplify inflationary effects. Conclusions. The policy of introducing financial innovations should primarily focus on reducing the 'cost of space,' developing infrastructure, strengthening logistics, and expanding regional offerings.
