The present study investigates magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) Casson hybrid nanofluid flow and heat transfer through a vertical parallelplate channel. The flow is driven by pressure gradient and buoyancy forces, with an externally applied magnetic field perpendicular to the flow direction. The coupled nonlinear momentum and energy equations are transformed into dimensionless form and solved numerically using the finite difference method (FDM) and Gauss-Jacobi iterative technique. The effects of the Hartmann number, Casson parameter, Grashof number, Brinkman number, and hybrid nanoparticle volume fractions on velocity and temperature distributions are investigated. The results indicate that increasing the Grashof number enhances both velocity and temperature due to stronger buoyancy-driven convection. An increase in the Brinkman number intensifies viscous dissipation, leading to higher fluid temperature and enhanced flow velocity. The Casson parameter reduces the velocity profile by increasing resistance to fluid motion, while its influence on temperature is relatively small. The magnetic field suppresses fluid motion through the resistive Lorentz force, whereas its influence on temperature remains comparatively small under the considered conditions. These findings provide insights into momentum and thermal transport in MHD Casson hybrid nanofluids, with potential applications in heat exchangers, cooling systems, and industrial thermal management.
