Thermoforming is one of the most frequently utilized processes to produce shaped plastic parts in industrial fabrication. The method involves heating a thermoplastic sheet to a pliable state followed by stretching it over a mold, and by subjecting it to a vacuum pressure, this research delves in Vacuum Thermoforming machines and Molds types, design considerations, performance metrics, and applications in the thermoplastics industry. The successful application of the vacuum forming process is highly dependent on the thermal and mechanical properties of the selected thermoforming material, the performance of the heat control and the use of appropriate tooling. If any of these parameters are not taken into consideration, the resulting part may be prone to quality issues such as thinning or wrinkling. The following techniques are often employed to ensure this does not occur:In this study a machine was designed and constructed to produce a simple to semi complex plastic parts in a appliable design of plastic product , The mold is wooden mold ,in male type mold , the plastic part produced is a plastic tool bag , the machine designed to deform five types of plastics sheet (ABS , PC , PMMA , PVC , )The design and construction vacuum thermoforming machines present several challenges. these include ensuring the machine's durability, achieving optimal Evacuation pressure for ensuring the plastic take the shape of the mold, and maintaining energy efficiency. Addressing these challenges is crucial to developing a reliable and effective machine that can produce plastic parts.
