This study analyzes the use of honey in 200 Resep Sehat JSR by Dr. Zaidul Akbar from a hadith perspective. It aims to identify the forms of honey use presented in the book and examine their relevance to the hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The study employs a normative research method with a library research approach. The primary source is 200 Resep Sehat JSR, while secondary sources include hadiths, hadith commentaries, books, and relevant scholarly articles. The findings indicate that honey is consumed directly, incorporated into beverages or herbal preparations, and used as a natural sweetener. From a hadith perspective, its use is grounded in the narration of Abu Sa‘id al-Khudri in Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī, Hadith No. 5684, which describes the therapeutic use of honey, and the narration of Aisha in Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī, Hadith No. 5682, which describes the Prophet’s fondness for honey. Thus, the use of honey in 200 Resep Sehat JSR is relevant to the Prophetic hadiths; however, its application and associated health claims must be considered in light of the contexts of these hadiths and scientific findings.
