A Study on Electromagnetic Mechanism

Traditional electromagnetism relies on Maxwell’s hypothesis of mutual excitation of electromagnetic fields. With the help of the displacement current phenomenon of parallel plate capacitors, it subjectively constructs the theory of electromagnetic waves that are alternately excited by electric fields and magnetic fields and propagate sustainably in vacuum. It further classifies light as vacuum electromagnetic waves, forming a century old unified system of electromagnetism and optics. This leads to persistent mechanistic misalignment in optics, electromagnetism and even fundamental physical systems. At the same time, classical physics has long adopted the one sided conclusion that the Lorentz force never does work. This conclusion only applies to the special scenario of isolated free charges in vacuum, yet it has been extended as a universal physical law. It directly causes comprehensive distortion of core physical mechanisms such as electromagnetic energy transfer, electromagnetic induction, electromechanical conversion and celestial rotation. This paper takes the electromagnetic characteristics of parallel plate capacitors, the magnetic coupling mechanism of transformers, the detection principle of current clamps, the law of electromagnetic induction in conductors, the operation mechanism of motors and generators, and the deflection phenomenon of magnets as a complete empirical system. It carries out systematic and subversive deduction on the underlying physical mechanism of electromagnetic interaction. This paper thoroughly refutes three core errors of classical electromagnetism. It denies the physical possibility of mutual excitation between electric fields and magnetic fields in vacuum, falsifies the entity of electromagnetic waves that propagate sustainably in vacuum, and overturns the century old conclusion that the Lorentz force does not do work. This paper systematically establishes a new mechanism of limited space infinite cyclic rotational work done by the Lorentz force. It clarifies that this mechanism is the core power for cross space transfer of electromagnetic energy, cyclic conversion of electromechanical energy and long term steady operation of celestial bodies. Through multi dimensional mechanism comparison and empirical verification, this paper strictly proves that light and electromagnetic interaction differ completely in physical essence, propagation mechanism, energy structure and action law. Light is not an electromagnetic wave, which realizes the mechanism separation of optics and electromagnetic interaction. Based on all deduction results, this paper reconstructs the real operation system of electromagnetic interaction, sorts out the underlying laws to clarify the truth, and provides a complete basis for the revision and reconstruction of fundamental electromagnetic theory and optical theory.
