The undeniable quality of meranti wood makes it an ideal material for crafting various wooden furniture and construction materials; however, its availability has recently declined due to various factors. The red meranti plant (Shorea leprosula) can be propagated through cuttings. To enhance the growth of meranti cuttings, various rooting hormones need to be applied. Growtone is a product used to stimulate root growth in plants. The study aims to determine the survival percentage of red meranti shoot cuttings for each treatment and analyze the effect of the growth regulator Growtone on the growth of red meranti shoot cuttings. The method used is a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 4 replications. The treatments are A (control), B (Growtone 1 g/10 ml water (0,050 g/cutting)), C (Growtone 1,5 g/10 ml water (0,075 g/cutting)), and D (Growtone 2 g/10 ml water (0,100 g/cutting)). The observed variables are the percentage of growth, number of shoots and shoot length, number of roots, and root length. The results of the study indicate that the application of the growth regulator Growtone results in different survival percentages for red meranti shoot cuttings (Shorea leprosula). Treatment D, with a dose of Growtone 2 g/10 ml of water (0.100 g/cutting), has a survival percentage of 65%. Treatment A, with the control/no treatment, has a survival percentage of 40%. Treatment B, with a dose of Growtone 1 g/10 ml of water (0.050 g/cutting), also has a survival percentage of 40%, while Treatment C, with a dose of Growtone 1.5 g/10 ml of water (0.075 g/cutting), has a survival percentage of 30%. The growth regulator did not show a significant effect on the growth of the number of shoots and shoot length in red meranti cuttings, as indicated by the Mann-Whitney U test, where the calculated U value is greater than the U table value
