The genus Paralipsis Förster, 1863 is recorded from South Korea for the first time. Two species are treated: Paralipsis triangulata Kim & Yoon, sp. nov . and P. eikoae (Yasumatsu, 1951), the latter newly recorded from South Korea. Paralipsis triangulata sp. nov . was collected from unidentified root-aphid colonies on the roots of Miscanthus sp. (Poaceae) and attended by Lasius koreanus Seifert, 1992 (Hymenoptera: Formicidae), whereas Paralipsis eikoae (Yasumatsu, 1951) (Hymenoptera: Braconidae) was collected from a nest of Lasius japonicus Santschi, 1941 (Hymenoptera: Formicidae), where no aphids were observed. Morphological descriptions, diagnostic characters, high-resolution photographs, and sequence data for seven gene regions ( COI , COII , ND1 , Cytb , 28SD2 , EF1–alpha , and Wingless ) are provided for both species. A COI gene tree and species delimitation analyses using ABGD and bPTP are also provided. Laboratory observations and videos revealed repeated antennal contact, riding behavior, grooming by associated ant workers, and trophallaxis in both species, as well as wing-pulling behavior in both species. These findings expand the known diversity and distribution of Paralipsis and provide new information on the ant-associated biology of root-aphid parasitoids in East Asia.
