Tax volunteers are a government initiative under the Independent Campus program, enabling students to contribute to the community. This activity was conducted at the Grogol Petamburan and Palmerah Pratama Tax Service Offices (KPP) from February to April 2026, with service hours from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Volunteers received online and offline training before assisting taxpayers. Training covered tax regulations and Coretax, an online platform for preparing and submitting Annual Tax Returns. The program aimed to help individual taxpayers (WPOP) activate Coretax accounts and complete their returns. Volunteers also assisted taxpayers in Grogol Petamburan with reporting difficulties, including submitting returns using withholding certificates from employers. This assistance aimed to reduce confusion and facilitate tax reporting. Questionnaire responses from more than 130 taxpayers indicated positive perceptions of the services. These responses suggest that tax volunteers can support tax awareness and help taxpayers navigate digital reporting procedures. The program also provides students with practical experience and workplace skills while enabling them to contribute to society. This activity illustrates the potential value of collaboration between students and tax offices in improving taxpayer assistance.
