The contemporary era is defined by an illusive condition where boundaries between factual reality and fiction blur due to massive disinformation and rapid technology. This technocentrism triggers a crisis of values, dehumanization, and directional disorientation in Indonesian church institutions and theological higher education. Integrating pastoral theology, Christian Religious Education, moral philosophy, and transformational leadership, this descriptive-analytical qualitative study with a multiple-case design investigates Christian institutional leadership dynamics. Primary data were gathered through semi-structured interviews with nine senior leaders across Java, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Maluku, and Papua, supplemented by observation and document analysis. Inductive thematic analysis reveals that conventional hierarchical leadership has lost its relevance. Effective leadership relies on three pillars: moral-realism-based spiritual leadership, agile educational management fostering work engagement, and contextual cultural pedagogy bridging digital and local-wisdom gaps. This study constructs the Holistic-Adaptive Christian Leadership (HACL) theoretical-operational model as a strategic compass to reduce ontological dislocation, dispel digital authority illusions, and advance ethically just community transformation.
